Beginning this Wednesday, November 5th, parishioners will be encouraged to enter into a time of prayer and preparation for a consecration to Jesus through Mary which will end December 8th. The consecration is based on the model offered to us through St. Louis Marie de Montfort. This spirituality assists a Christian soul to know, love and serve our Lord more intimately here with the hopes of doing so in heaven. Books are available after all Masses this and next weekend for a $10.00 donation.
SCHEDULE for the consecration to Jesus through Mary
First comes a 12-day preparation period (November 5-16) that consists of emptying oneself of the spirit of the world in penance and mortification. For those 12 days, we daily pray the Veni Creator, the Ave Maris Stella, the Magnificat, and the Glory Be.
